The late Master Abolainain Shoaisha is an unforgettable example for Egypt’s contemporary Quranic community.
This is according to young and renowned Egyptian reciter Anwar Shahat Muhammad Anwar, who also told IQNA that Master Shoaisha was kind and considerate.
“It was because of his beautiful style of recitation and his moral virtues that Shoaisha became a role model for Quran reciters,” he added.
“We, Egyptian reciters, would always talk of Master Shoaisha as the oldest Egyptian reciter of the present-day. He was a major figure in Egyptian Quran recitation scene,” he remarked.
“He had special interest in recitation of Iranian Quran reciters and because of that made several visits to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Several times, he took part in Iran’s international Quranic events including the International Quran Competition for Muslim students.”
According to Mr. Anwar, Sheikh Shoaisha had a special style of recitation which was hard to imitate for other reciters. “With his demise, Egypt’s Quranic community lost one of his great figures. His moral personality and his compassionate character will never be erased from memories."
In the end, He prayed that God would bestow mercy and forgiveness on the late Quran reciter.
Anwar Shahat Muhammad Anwar, son of the late Master Shahat Muhammad Anwar, has traveled to Iran several times on invitations from Dar-ol-Quran Kareem Organization, Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, and Quran TV, to recite the Holy Quran during the holy month of Ramadan.
In his visits to Iran, he has recited the Quran in 22 provinces of the country.
