Quranic Community’s Pioneering Role in Supporting Quds, an Example for Others
A veteran Quran activist said the Quranic community’s forerunning role in supporting the holy Quds is an example for the rest of the people to follow.
Hossein Ali Sharif told IQNA that the responsibility of the Quranic community regarding the issue of Palestine is heavy as the Quran has commanded Muslims to lead the way in good deeds.
“If we are to be the real followers of the Noble Quran, we ought to act upon its teachings and, thus, it is upon us all to take part in rallies marking the International Quds Day.”
He urged all Muslims to partake in the rallies, which signify the solidarity of the Islamic Ummah with the oppressed people of Palestine.
This Friday, August 26, which is the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, marks the International Quds Day. Rallies in support of the Palestinian people are annually held in Muslim countries as well as other places in the world on the day.
