Velayat & Imamate Celebrations in China
Iran Cultural Center in China held a ceremony to mark the week of Velayat and Imamte (from Eid Al-Adha to Eid Al-Ghadir) on Saturday, November 12 at Iranian Embassy in Shanghai.
According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the program was held with the presence of the officials at the Iranian Consulate, Iran Cultural Center, Iranian students and their families and those residing in China.
The ceremony began with Quran recitation and followed with Iran cultural attaché’s speech on Seerah of Imam Ali (AS) and importance of Eid Al-Ghadir.
He concluded his speech with a reference to Ghadir Sermon and explained some parts of the sermon.
Congregational poems were recited by Iranian students on the occasion and eulogies were performed at the end of the program.
