Head of the Iranian Hajj mission Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ali Ghazi Askar said special attention was given to interpretation of the Holy Quran in this year’s Hajj, which was very effective.
He was speaking at a press conference on Friday, November 18, upon his return from Saudi Arabia.
He stressed that this year’s Hajj was held better compared to the previous year’s.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ghazi Askar noted that programs like recitation of Arafa Supplication, Kumail prayer and forums titled “Religion and Insight” for the Hajj pilgrims, as well as the Bira'at (distancing from Mushrikin or disbelievers) rituals were also organized more gloriously than before.
He referred to the current situation of the Islamic world and said it was obvious that the Hajj pilgrims from different corners of the world had been affected by the Islamic awakening tide.
He expressed confidence that there would be better developments in the Islamic world in the near future.
Head of the Iranian Hajj mission went on to say that cultural activities and administrative services to the Hajjis also improved in this year’s Hajj.
