Yemeni artist Muhammad Nasser Al-Balihsa has caligraphed the entire Quran in Naskh script, adnanalghad website reported.
It took him ten years to complete the work of art, the Yemeni calligrapher from Dhamar province said.
I calligraphed this copy of Quran in Naskh, which is one of the finest artistic scripts,” he said, adding that copy contains 520 pages.
The calligraphy lasted 9 years and it took him one more year to complete the embellishments and illumination of the pages.
Al-Balihsa said after completion of the work he gave the copy to a prominent Quran memorizer to proofread it and the Quran memorizer found no errors in it.
The Yemeni Quran calligrapher went on to say that his aim was to get further acquainted with the Word of God.
