Fully understanding the great character of Hazrat Zahra (SA) is beyond the human capacity, a French Muslim figure said.
Speaking to IQNA, Abdullah Jacques Chartier, head of the French Society of Shia Muslim Converts, addd that Hazrat Zahra (SA) belongs to a family whose father is the Holy Prophet (PBUH), whose husband is Imam Ali (AS) and whose children include Imams of the Islamic Ummah.
“These virtues are indicative of how outstanding the character of Hazrat Zahra (SA) is,” he said.
“The only way for comprehending different aspects of this great character is referring to verses (of the Quran) and the Hadiths.”
Chartier underlined that the lofty status of the Holy Prophet’s daughter can not be compared to any other woman in the world.
“There is, of course, a verse in Surah Al-e Imran that introduces Hazrat Maryam (SA) as the mistress of the woman of the world, but according to interpretations presented by Muslim thinkers, the mother of Hazrat Issa (Jesus (AS)) was the greatest lady in the world in her time while Hazrat Zahra (SA) is the mistress of the women in all times, in this world and the Hereafter.”
Head of the Society of European Shi’ites further pointed to the fact that Hazrat Zahra (SA) is the only person, except for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imams (AS), who is infallible.
“Therefore, whatever she did, during the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and after that, is a sure model for Muslims to follow.”
The French Shia figure referred to Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) obedience to Imam Ali (AS) as not only a sign of a wife’s obedience to her husband, but a clear sign of her accepting the principle of Velayat.
He said Hazrat Zahra courageously stood up against those who had trampled on the rights of the first Shia Imam (AS).
Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) Fadakiya Khutba (sermon) at the Holy prophet (PBUH) Mosque was a sign of her courage and bravery and proved the fact that Islam does not restrict women’s presence in social arenas, Chartier added.
He went on to say that a lot has been said about the virtues of Hazrat Zahra (SA) but the most important thing about the great lady of Islam (SA) is that she belongs to the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
