Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) Jiahd on the path of God was the reason why pure Islam has remained strong until today, a Lebanese political activist said.
Speaking to IQNA, Rima Fakhri, member of Hezbollah’s political council, added that Hazrat Zahra (SA) delivered a Jihad-like sermon in the mosque in Medina and helped the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ali (AS) in the spread of pure Islam.
She said Hazrat Zahra (SA) was a perfect human being, an infallible person and the mother of Imams (AS) whose pure faith elevated her to a lofty position.
Fakhri noted that Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) support for her father during the hard times of early years after the advent of Islam was the reason why she was called Umm Abiha (the mother of her father).
Asked how the character of Hazrat Zahra (SA) could be introduced to non-Muslims, she said the lofty character of the Great Lady of Islam has remained unknown not only for non-Muslims but even for many Muslims.
“Therefore, we should make efforts to introduce Hazrat Zahra (SA) to the new generations, both Muslims and non-Muslims.”
She said if one gets acquainted with only part of Hazrat Zahra’s status and her valuable activities in society, they would realize that Islam is a religion that highly repsects women and considers a high status for them in society.
“Today, we should introduce the knowledge, Seerah and greatness of Hazrat Zahra to the world in different languages,” she underlined.
Fakhri sia dteh media of Muslim world has failed to play its proper role in promoting the character and Seerah of Hazrat Zahra (SA) to the world.
She also highlighted the important role of Muslim scholars and thinkers in this regard, saying that while Muslim scholars have done a lot of efforts to introduce the character of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) daughter (SA), there is still a lot of work needed to be done.
She prayed that God help Muslim women to take the life of Hazrat Zahra (SA) as a role model in their life, thought and culture.
