Steadfast Faith, Piety, Main Characteristics of Hazrat Zahra (SA)
Steadfast faith, piety and defending the Holy prophet (PBUH) were the main characteristics of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the chairman of the Muslim Association of Denmark told IQNA.
Mohamed Fouad Al-Barazi added that clarifying the stands and the characteristics of Hazrat Zahra (SA) is the best way to promote her lofty character in the world.
He stressed that that the Muslim media play an important role in this regard.
The member of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) referred to devotion to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and defending him as one of the main attributes of Hazrat Zahra’s (SA) character.
Her devotion to her father was so much that she was one of the first to join the Holy Prophet (PBUH) after his demise, he said.
“She was also a righteous and sincere wife for Imam Ali (AS),” he added.
Al-Barazi underlined that all the companions of the Holy prophet (PBUH) held Hazrat Zahra (AS) in great respect and that everyone has recognized that she was the best and most pious of women.
The member of the Muslim World League pointed to one of the sacrifices made by Hazrat Zahra (AS) and her family that has been mentioned in the Quran.
Al-Barazi noted that Hazrat Zahra (AS) and her family, who were fasting, for three consecutive days gave whatever food they had to a poor man, an orphan and a captive.
“The Holy Quran has mentioned this in verse 8 of Surah Al-Insan “And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive.”
He further highlighted the role of Hazrat Zahra (SA) in enhancing women’s social participation.
Al-Barazi went on to say that followers of all Islamic schools of thought stress the need for revering the great Lady of Islam.
