Quran and Hadith Competition for Families of Al-Mustafa University Students

QOM (IQNA) - Registration for the 3rd edition of Quran and Hadith competition for the families of Al-Mustafa University students is underway until January 15.


 Ahmad Sadeqi, executive director of the competition, told IQNA that registration began on November 16 in two groups for men and women.



Children will compete in three different age groups including under 10, 10 to 15 and above 16.

Memorization of the entire Quran, memorization of 20, 10, 5 and 3 Juzes (parts) and 1 Juz of the Holy Quran, recitation of the Quran, Tarteel recitation, Adhan (call to prayers) and memorization of Nahj-ul-Balaqa and Nudba Supplication are the categories of the oral section of the competition.

The written section’s categories will include the teachings of Nahj-ul-Balaqa and Nudbah Supplication, along with translation of the Holy Quran and Noor and Nemuneh interpretations of Quran for the participants aged 16 and more.

Essay-writing and blogging on Islamic life-style in view of the Holy Quran and Hadith are the categories of the Islamic works section.

The competition for families of the seminarians will be held in February.

Meanwhile, the 20th international Quran and Hadith festival of Al-Mustafa University is underway in Tehran and other cities.
