New Quran Memorization Center Opens in UAE

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A new Quran memorization center called “’Abeed-ul-Hulw” was opened on January 31 in Mazira’ region of the emirate of Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.


According to Al-Bayan newspaper, the center was opened in a ceremony with the presence of Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al-Na’eemi, governor of Ajman and a number of the UAE officials.

The governor visited various parts of the Quranic center and get acquainted with its objectives and the new methods of the center in teaching Quran memorization, Hadith and religious sciences.

He expressed satisfaction on cooperation of the people in charity affairs and construction of mosques and religious centers.

He also appreciated the efforts of the General Office of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in supporting religious and Quranic centers of the region.

Muhammad Matar Al-Ka’bi, head of the office said in this respect that development of the culture of reading, memorizing and contemplating the Holy Quran through the establishment of Quranic centers in various parts of the country is the main objective of the office.

‘Ubaid Ham Al-Za’abi, director of the office’s branch in Ajman said that the new Quran memorization center plans to hold an 8-term course for 200 male and female students.
