Iran’s Haj-Abolqassem to Serve as Jury Member of Tunisia’s Int’l Quran Contest

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian Quran master Mohammad Haj-Abolqassem has been invited by Tunisia to serve as a member of the jury panel in the North African country’s international Quran competition.

 The international Quranic event will be held in Tunisia later this month.

 

Born in 1975, Haj-Abolqassem is a memorizer of the entire Quran and has a PhD in Quran and Hadith sciences.


He has won many titles in international Quran competitions in different countries including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon.


The Islamic Republic will also send a Qari and a memorizer to compete in Tunisia’s Quran contest.


Reza Golshahi will represent Iran in the recitation category of the competition while Mohammad Ali Eslami will compete in memorization of the entire Quran.
