Int’l Exhibition of Quranic Artworks to Open in Istanbul

TEHRAN (IQNA) - An international exhibition of Quranic artworks will be opened in Istanbul, Turkey, on the 20th of the Holy month of Ramadan (July 7).


According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the exhibition will be organized by Salam Center of Art Creations in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Istanbul.



 



Titled "From the Heaven to the Earth", the exhibition will be held on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) on the 21st of the Holy month of Ramadan.



 



Jamal Rashid Rey Cultural Center in Istanbul has allocated a 2800-square-meter site for hosting the exhibition.



 



Among the artworks to be put on display at the exhibition, there will be 35 tableaus of illumination of Quranic verses and poetries of Khayyam, Hafiz, etc. created by Iranian artists as well as calligraphy on fabric and 115 Iranian carpets.



 



Some educational workshops will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
