Meeting of World Quran Memorizers in Egypt
According to the Bab website, the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) is the organizer of the meeting, which will bring together 50 memorizers of the Holy Quran from different countries.
The Quran activists are members of the Holy Quran Memorization International Organization studying at Al-Azhar University in Egypt.
50 directors of the country’s Quranic institutes, associations and centers will also participate in the gathering.
ISESCO says the aim of the Quranic program is to promote the knowledge and awareness of the Quran memorizers, get them acquainted with new skills, clarify, evaluate and develop the methods of Quran memorization and encourage children and teenagers to memorize the Quran.
It said that improving the efficiency of Quranic centers, strengthening the relation between Quran activists and experts in Quran memorization and sciences, and developing interaction among Quranic institutes are among other objectives of the meeting.
