Male contestants sat the examinations at the headquarters of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award for ten days and female memorizers were tested at the Dubai Women’s Association for 12 days, the GNews reported.
Ebrahim Bu Melha, Head of DIHQA Organizing Committee and Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs, said the contest has gained popularity among young Quran memorizers across the United Arab Emirates.
"Top winners will be given accolades during the concluding ceremony to take place at the Dubai Women’s Association on February 23 for male participants and on February 24 for female contestants,” he said.
