Quran, Sunnah Academy Launched in Gaza
Haniyeh in an address to the ceremony lauded Gazan Quran activists’ efforts to promote teaching the Quran and Sunnah and said the Palestinian nation is proud of these activities.
He also thanked the Dar-ol-Quran Center’s officials for promoting the teachings of the Quran.
Haniyeh called for formation of an army of Quran memorizers for liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy city of Quds (Jerusalem).
Liberation of Quds and al-Aqsa is an objective the world expect the Palestinian nation to materialize, he underlined.
Abdul Rahman al-Jamal in his speech highlighted the growing trend of Quranic activities and programs of the Dar-ol-Quran Center of Gaza, saying it has started a program to teach Quran memorization and recitation to those outside the Gaza Strip as well.
He added that there are also Quranic programs underway for the visually-impaired and hearing-impaired.
