The Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine has organized the programs, which will began on Thursday and will run for three days.
According to Sheikh Saeed Abu Tabuq, director of center, senior Qaris from Iraq and other countries have been attending the sessions.
Theere are also religious speeches delivered by Najaf Seminary scholars including Sayyed Ahmed al-Mousawi, Sayyed Sami al-Badri and Sheikh Mustafa Abu Tabuq.
In their speeches, they elaborate on the virtues of the first Shia Imam (AS).
Imam Ali was Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s highly revered son-in-law and cousin as well as the first Imam of Shia Islam.
Imam Ali is respected for his courage, knowledge, belief, honesty, unbending devotion to Islam, deep loyalty to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), equal treatment of all Muslims and generosity in forgiving his defeated enemies.
