Eloquence in Imam Ali’s (AS) Sermons Discussed in Karbala
According to the website of the holy shrine’s Astan (custodianship), the seminar was organized on the second anniversary of the publication of "Dawat Al-Muhkamah” specialized magazine by the Arabic Language Section of the Astan.
Heidar Al-Salami, head of the information section of the Astan, said that the technical and rhetorical issues in the sermons of Imam Ali (AS) in Nahjul Balagha were investigated in the program.
He added that the main objective of the seminar was to introduce the linguistic aspects of the sermons and disseminate the thoughts of the infallible Imam (AS) as the model of the true Islamic thought which invite to brotherhood and moderation.
The program was attended by academic figures and experts of Arabic language and literature from different universities of Iraq.
According to Latif Al-Qassab, head of the Arabic Section, the Dawat Al-Muhkamah magazine covers articles on the linguistic heritage, literature, rhetorical sciences and teaching methods of Arabic language.
