Quranic, Spiritual Campaign Begins in India
It is aimed at global peace, universal brotherhood and creating awareness against terrorism, mobilizing people’s opinion for the cause of national unity, patriotism and conveying the message of Holy Quran for humanity.
Five internationally renowned Qaris from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, Shaikh Mustafa Abdul Fatah Mohammed Khaleel, Shaikh Abdul Basit Fawzy Ismail, Shaikh Mohammed Mahmood Al-Sayeed, Shaikh Yousuf Akheel and Shaikh Sama Zain will participate. Qaris from Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Iran have also been invited.
The campaign will be run in north India in the first Ashra (10 days) of Ramadan while the convoy will arrive at Hyderabad on June 16, 10th of Ramadan. As per the tradition the convoy will be welcomed by the Telangana government as state guest.
Public program for recitation of the Holy Quran all around the country, holding Iftar ceremonies and Quranic events such as exhibitions will be held during the campaign.
