Exhibition in Stockholm Showcases Quranic Calligraphy Works

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An exhibition of Quranic calligraphy works has been mounted in Stockholm, Sweden, on the sidelines of the 4th Quran competition of Northern Europe.

The artworks by Iranian calligraphers feature the verses of Surah al-Kawthar and verse 29 of Surah Anfal, according to Farsnews.

They have been showcased at the Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in Stockholm, which is also hosting the competition.

92 contestants from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland are competing in the Quranic event, which started on Friday.

Quran recitation, Tarteel, memorization, Azan (call to prayers) and Quranic concepts are the categories of the contest.

5 Quran experts from Denmark, Germany, Iran, Sweden and the Netherlands make up the event’s panel of judges.
