Vienna Hosting Quranic Calligraphy Exhibition
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An exhibition of Quranic calligraphy works has been mounted in Vienna, Austria.
The expo, titled "Arts, Quran and Mosque” is underway at the Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in the Austrian capital.
It began on Friday, August 19, and will continue at the center until August 22, according to Tasnim.
The artworks put on display feature Surah Kawthar and verse 29 of Surah Anfal: "O you who have believed, if you fear Allah , He will grant you a criterion and will remove from you your misdeeds and forgive you. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty.”
The permanent secretariat of Iran’s Arts and Cultural Festivals for Youths in Mosques has mounted the exhibition.
A similar expo was held earlier this month in the Swedish capital of Stockholm concurrent with the 4th Quran competition for Northern European countries.
