Dubai Allocates Dh100 Million for Quran Park Project

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Dh100 million project was approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality.

The Cave of Miracles and Glass House project is to be located in the Quran Park, which is being built in Al Khawaneej area of the city.

The Cave of Miracles will illustrate the miracles mentioned in the Quran using the latest interactive technology, while the Glass House will contain plants mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), The National reported.

The park will consist of 12 gardens, and solar trees inspired by Arab and Islamic calligraphy. The trees include solar panels, Wi-Fi with mobile phone charging facilities and shaded seats for visitors.

"The park is a great opportunity to explain the meaning of a lot of wonders and miracles mentioned in the Quran in the scientific and medical fields," said Hussain Lootah, director-general of the Dubai Municipality.
