According to Qaaf news agency, 45 women from different parts of the governorate have taken part in the competition.
They represent Quranic centers and institutes of the governorate and compete in memorization of the Holy Quran.
The Quran Activists Society of Wasit, affiliated to Iraq’s Quran Activists Association, has organized the event.
