Over 200 Foreigners to Take Part in Iran Quran Contest

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The tenth edition of a Quran competition annually organized by Iran’s Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center will be attended by contestants from other countries.

Over 200 Foreigners to Take Part at Iran Quran Contest


The competition will be held on February 10-13 with the participation of more than 2700 Quran activists from different provinces of Iran and a number of other countries.

According to Tasnim, at least 216 foreign Quran memorizers and reciters will be among the contenders.

Among those who have signed up to attend the contest, the youngest one is 6 years old and the oldest contestant is 61.

The completion will be held in two age groups and in the categories of recitation and memorization of the Holy Quran (at different levels).

The 7th of Tir Center in downtown Tehran will host the awarding ceremony of the competition on Friday, February 17.
