Tehran to Host 5 Int’l Quranic Events
Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini, head of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization’s Quranic Affairs Center said that in addition to the annual international Quran competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, there will be an international Quran contest for school students and another international Quranic event for women in Tehran.
The city will also host the second edition of the international Quran contest for the visually-impaired and the first international Quran competition for seminary students, he added.
Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini noted that a number of organizations, including Iran’s Welfare Organization and the Seminary Schools management will cooperate with the Awqaf Organization in holding the Quranic contests.
He expressed the hope that the upcoming international Quranic events will pave the way for the society to further benefit from the rich Quranic culture, according to Tasnim.
