TEHRAN (IQNA) – The tenth edition of the nationwide Quran competition of the Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran center will kick off Monday, February 13, 2017, all over the country.

2700 Iranian Qaris, Memorizers to Attend Nationwide Quran Contest

The contest will continue until Friday, February 17, according to the center.

2700 Quran reciters and memorizers will compete in the two categories of recitation and memorizations of the Holy Quran in two age groups of teenagers and adults.

The closing ceremony is scheduled to be held on Friday at Tehran’s Islamic Revolution Martyrs Cultural Complex with a number of Quranic officials in attendance.

The Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran center annually organizes the nationwide competition annually with the aim of promoting the Quranic culture in the society.
