Swedish Qari Recites Quran at Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) Holy Shrine
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Rahmatollah Bayat, a prominent Qari from Sweden, took part in a Quran recitation session at the holy mausoleum of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) in Rey, south of Tehran.
The program, held at the holy shrine on Friday night, was also attended by top Iranian reciters Mohammad Reza Pourzargari and Alireza Mehdizadeh.
A large number of the holy shrine’s pilgrims were present in the Quranic session.
32-year-old Bayat, who has traveled to Tehran to attend the 34th International Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, recited verses from the Holy Quran at the program.
Iran hosted five international Quran contests this week.
A total of 276 Quran memorizers and reciters from 83 countries took part in the five Quranic events.
