TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will officiate a ceremony planned to be held at the Tehran International Quran Exhibition next week.

During the ceremony, slated for the 14th day of the holy month of Ramadan (June 9), a number of Quranic figures active in promoting the Holy Book will be honored, Mohammad Reza Poormoin, an official with the organizing committee said.

He added that 10 Quranic figures, active in different Quranic fields, will be honored at the event.

The 25th edition of the Tehran International Quran Exhibition kicked off here in the Iranian capital on Monday.

It has different sections including Quranic activities, international, children and young adults, arts, government organizations, NGOs, and Hijab and Ifaf.

They showcase the latest achievements in Quranic and Islamic fields as well as books and artworks featuring Quranic and Islamic themes.

Representatives of media outlets, institutions and Quranic figures from 20 countries will also be present in the international section later.

The Quran exhibition, whose motto is "Quran, Ethics and Life”, will be underway until June 16.

People can visit it at the Imam Khomeini (RA) Mosalla (prayer hall) every day from 5 PM to midnight.
