The ten-year-old was selected from among seven girls whose Quranic talent and skills were assessed by Quran experts of Iran’s committee for selecting and dispatching Quran reciters and memorizers to international contests and a number of other Quranic bodies of the country.
Hosseini, who is from Khorasan Razavi province, achieved the highest score among the girls and was named Iran’s representative in the upcoming international competition.
It will be the second edition of the Quranic event.
Seventy female Quran memorizers from different countries competed in the first edition of the Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Quran competition for female contestants in Dubai, the UAE, on November 6-18, 2016.

Hannaneh Khalafi in last year’s edition.
