Amir Laal Avval came first in the 18th edition of the Moscow international Quran competition on Sunday.
It was held in the Russian capital under the supervision of Sheikh Ravil Gaynetdin, the chairman of the Russian Council of Muftis.
Representatives of 30 countries competed in the category of Quran recitation.
The awarding ceremony will be held on Monday.
Russia’s international contest is the main Quranic competition in Europe in terms of participating countries.
