Aida Mansoor will lead the retreat.
Participants will receive a general introduction to Islam, a short history of the Quran and the language used in this text, as well insight into how Muslims refer to the sacred document in their daily lives.
Themes, approaches and interpretations of the Quran will also be offered.
Aida Mansoor is a past president of the Muslim Coalition of Connecticut. She has a master's degree in Islamic studies and Christian Muslim relations from Hartford Seminary.
