TEHRAN (IQNA) – Ihab Muhammad Ibrahim Alian from Yemen is among Quran memorizers who made it to the final round of Malaysia international Quran contest.


Alian is representing Yemen in the competition’s category of memorization of the entire Quran, according to al-Taqyir website.

He answered the questions raised by the panel of judges on the first day of the contest.

Representatives of 56 countries are present at the 60th international Quran competition of Malaysia.

Officially named the International Al-Quran Recital and Memorization Assembly 1439/2018, it kicked off at the Putra World Trade Center in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

The Quranic event, being held in the categories of Quran memorization and recitation, will conclude in an awarding ceremony on Saturday, May 12.
