Quran Contest Gets Underway in Indonesia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 11th edition of a national Quran competition began in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta on Monday.
As many as 260 Quran activists from different parts of the Southeast Asian country are attending the Quranic event, according to the g365 website.
A number of prominent Islamic, cultural and academic figures were present at the opening ceremony.
The competition will run until Thursday, January 31.
