Dubai Int’l Quran Award: Iranian Memorizer’s Turn Tuesday

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Mohamamd Reza Valimohammadi of Iran will go on the stage at the 23rd Dubai International Holy Quran Award on Tuesday to demonstrate his Quranic talents.

 

The Iranian memorizer of the entire Quran will answer questions of the panel of judges once in the afternoon and once at night.

He will be asked to read one page of the Quran from memory each time.

A total of 100 contestants from 100 countries are vying for the top prize in this edition of the contest.

Winners of the three top titles will receive cash prizes of 250,000, 200,000 and 150,000 UAE dirhams, respectively. 

The Dubai international Holy Quran award is annually held in the holy month of Ramadan on memorization of the entire Quran.
