IQNA – The Ramadan-special TV show ‘Mahfel’ is a Quranic work and that is why it has been blessed by God, one of the program’s experts said.

Hojat-ol-Islam Gholam Reza Ghasemiyan

Hojat-ol-Islam Gholam Reza Ghasemiyan spoke to IQNA about the popular program and his role in it.

Screening the second season of TV show began on IRIB’s TV 3 channel on the first day of the sacred month of Ramadan on Tuesday.

It is broadcast just before sunset every day during the holy month, offering a spiritual oasis for viewers as they prepare to break their fast.

With a primary focus on the Quran, the program aims to enrich the brief moments of respite for fasting individuals through insightful discussions and captivating recitations.

Hojat-ol-Islam Ghasemiyan said that while there were worries that the second season would not be as successful as the first but there is an important issue at play and that is when something is done for the Quran, it receives divine blessings.

He said it was said before this program that Quranic messages should be conveyed within other subjects and not directly, but the success of Mahfel showed that this is a wrong idea.

It proved that promoting the Quran with the Quran itself can be quite successful, he added.
