Quranic Upbringing to Bring Balance to Life
Speaking to IQNA, Abdel Amir Kadhim Zahid, a professor at Kufa University’s Faculty of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), underlined that if one’s upbringing is based on the monotheistic culture and the teachings of the Holy Quran, there will a balance in life between worldly and spiritual aspects.
He further referred to the Western onslaught on Islamic values, saying that given the supremacy of these sublime values, they will not be undermined by such onslaughts.
Zahid added that the future prospect of the Islamic Ummah is very bright and promising and that one can say with certainty that future belongs to Islam and Muslims.
He went on to urge all Muslims, especially the youth and academics to read at least one page of the Quran every day and contemplate its teachings.
