Quran TV Launches Data Bank of Recitations by Iranian, Egyptian Qaris

 TEHRAN (IQNA) – Director of Iran’s Quran TV announced the launch of a data bank of Quran recitations by prominent Iranian and Egyptian Qaris.

  

Mohammad Hossein Mohammadzadeh said the data bank includes audio and video content featuring recitations by 110 Qaris from Iran and Egypt.

He said those willing to listen and watch the recitations can access the data bank via the website of the TV channel at www.qurantv.ir.

According to the official, it also includes the archive of programs produced and broadcast on the Quran TV, Fars reported.

Among the programs are those featuring Quran teaching, Tafseer (interpretation), Nahj-ol-Balaqa and religious speeches.

The new website of the Quran TV was launched in a ceremony during the holy month of Ramadan attended by the Quran and Etrat Deputy of the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance Abdol Hadi Feqhizadeh.
