A senior cleric urged that visitors to the International Quran Exhibition should be reminded that what matters most is not reading the Quran only but acting upon its teachings.

Speaking during a visit to the 22nd edition of the exhibition in Tehran's Holy Defense Garden-Museum, Ayatollah Morteza Moqtadaei, head of the Supreme Council of Qom Seminary, said the expo should teach people to implement Quranic teachings.
He underlined that one should read verses of the Quran, then contemplate the verses so that he can implement them in life.
Ayatollah Moqtadaei further referred to the activities of the Islamic seminaries to promote the Holy Quran and said many steps have been taken by seminaries to this end but more needs to be done
