--That God addresses humans in the holy Quran signifies glorifying humans’ character and their lofty position in the world.
This is according to Hojat-ol-Islam Hassan Pouya editor-in-chief of the Bayyenat Journal in interview with IQNA.

“As humans are the real addressees in Quran and Quran has been descended for humans, God addresses humans directly in His Book. For instance, in 89 cases God addresses the believers,” he said.

Referring to the teachings in Quranic dialogs, Hojat-ol-Islam Pouya noted that whatever humans need in order to gain perfection is there in the dialogs of the holy Quran. “A great number of Quranic dialogs are about beliefs such as monotheism, resurrection, and so on.”

“Another thing some Quranic dialogs deal with is social issues like ordering to observe religious laws, and showing ways o how to have a healthy economic system,” he went on to say.
