Iranians Prepare for Muharram Mourning Ceremonies
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Shia Muslims across Iran prepare for taking part in ceremonies held annually in the month of Muharram (first month in the lunar Hijri calendar) to mourn the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the Battle of Karbala.
