Ta’ziyeh Performance in Tehran on Ashura
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The ceremonies held across Iran on Saturday, the day of Ashura, to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions included performances of Ta’ziyeh, a kind of passion play telling the story of the martyrdom of the Imam (AS).
