Blessed Flag of Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine Hoisted at Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) Shrine
TEHRAN (IQNA) – In a ceremony held Sunday evening, the blessed flag of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine was raised on top of the mausoleum of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) in Rey, south of Tehran.
The ceremony was held ahead of the lunar Hijri month of Muharram, in which Shia Muslims around the world hold ceremonies to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) and his faithful companions in the Battle of Karbala in 680 A.D.
