Exhibition Showcases Artworks on Ashura
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An exhibition has been mounted in Tehran to showcase artworks by a number of Iranian, Iraqi and Lebanese artists featuring Ashura.
The expo will be open to public for a month.
Ashura, the tenth day of the lunar Hijri month of Muharram, is the day when the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein (AS), and his faithful companions were martyred in the Battle of Karbala in 680 AD.
