Taziyeh Performance about Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS)
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Taziyeh performance was held at a religious center in Tajrish Bazar, north of Tehran, about Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS), the son of Imam Hussein (AS) who was killed in the 680 AD Battle of Karbala.
Taziyeh is a kind of passion play telling the story of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions on the day of Ashura in the Battle of Karbala.
