Taziyeh Performance in Tehran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Taziyeh performance was held at Niavaran Cultural Center in Tehran.
The performance featured the martyrdom of Hurr ibn Yazid Ar-Riyahi in the 680 AD Battle of Karbala.
Taziyeh is a kind of passion play telling the story of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions in the Battle of Karbala.
