New Zarih for Hazrat Zeynab (SA) Holy Shrine Being Built in Iraq
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The building of a new Zarih for the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeynab (SA) is in its final stages and it is expected to completed soon.
A Zarih is the outer sarcophagus enclosure of a holy shrine.
The new Zarih that was designed by Iraqi artists is being built at the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala.
It has a wooden framework and has been decorated with verses of the Quran and Hadiths.
It will be completed by this summer and taken to Damascus to be replaced with the current one at the holy shrine of Hazrat Zeynab (SA).
