Tabriz Grand Mosque A Manifestation of Iranian-Islamic Architecture’s Beauty  

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Grand Mosque (Jameh Mosque) of Tabriz is one of the main historical building the northwestern Iranian city.

Built during the Seljuk Empire (11th-12th centuries), it has been developed several times in different periods until the Qajar era.

The Mosque has also been referred to in history books as Kabiri Jameh Mosque.

Located next to the Grand Bazaar of Tabriz and the Constitutional House of Tabriz, it is a beautiful manifestation of the Iranian-Islamic architecture.

The mosque was registered in Iran’s National Heritage List in 1931.
