Story of Quran Memorizer with Elementary Education Who Wrote 20 Books on Quran

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An Egyptian 80-year-old man with elementary education has managed to pen 20 books on Quranic and Islamic fields.

 

Sheikh Abda was born in a village in Sohag governorate’s Tama district. He finished elementary school in his hometown but could not attend high school due to long distances and social conditions.

He started memorizing the Quran at an early age and commit the entire Book to his memory under the guidance of local masters.

According to Cairo24 website, Sheikh Abda continued studying various books on the Quran in the coming years and managed to write his first book on Tajweed after finishing conscription.

He then decided to write down the entire Quran with his own handwriting and managed to finish this project as well.

“I love reading since childhood, and I had to educate myself because I had hopes and ambitions,” he said, adding he had to walk more than 10 kilometers in order to visit Quran masters.

Sheikh Abda has penned 20 various books on Islamic and Quranic fields so far and has not abandoned his love for reading and accumulating knowledge.
