Malaysia’s Putra Mosque in Pictures
It has been contracted near Putrajaya Lake in an area of one hectare. Construction of the Putra Mosque began in 1997 and lasted for three years until 1999. Putra was named in honor of Malaysia's first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj.
