People Mourn Martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra at Shah Cheragh Mausoleum

SHIRAZ (IQNA) – People mourned the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA) at Shah Cheragh Mausoleum in Shiraz, southwest Iran, on Monday.

A ceremony called “heavenly apples” was held at the shrine in which 3,000 apples were distributed among pilgrims.

Shah Cheragh is a funerary monument and mosque, housing the tomb of Ahmad and Muhammad, the sons of Imam Musa Kadhim (AS), the seventh Shia Imam.

It is the most important pilgrimage center of Shiraz in Iran’s southern province of Fars. Shah Cheragh literally means (the Shrine of) the lord of the light.
