Turkey Earthquake Survivor Recites Quran after Pulled Out of Rubble
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A video has gone viral which shows a man in Turkey's Kahramanmaraş reciting verses 285-286 of Surah Baqarah as rescue forces pull him out of rubble, 104 hours after devastating earthquakes.
Deadly earthquakes hit southern Turkey on Monday, leveling thousands of homes both in Turkey and Syria. The death toll has topped 23,000 as hopes for finding survivors alive are fading away.
